The adidas Superskate impressed us with its overall durability. Key stress areas like the sole, heel collar, laces, and eyelets are typically the first to show wear, but the Superskate held up remarkably well.

After being a fan of my Gazelles for years, I decided to try out the Handball Spezial, since they don't seem to get a ton of love compared to Sambas and Gazelles. Easily my new favorite of the Originals.

This is the second pair of Adidas shoes I have gotten in the last 12 months that squeaks when I walk.

Waaay too much volume in the upper for my narrow feet. Major material bunching up issues.

More arch support means those of us with flat feet will have to at least replace the insole. I swapped the insole of the Samba into the Spezial, then wore the other Samba on one foot and the Spezial on the other foot, and the arch in the Spezial is definitely still noticeable.
