Susana Monaco is a contemporary fashion brand founded by designer Susana Monaco, who was born in New Jersey to Italian immigrant parents and grew up surrounded by European art and sculpture. Her father, an engineer and tailor who owned an apparel manufacturing company, provided her early exposure to garment construction and tailoring techniques. After studying design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Monaco moved to Miami where her fashion journey took a pivotal turn following a bartending accident in South Beach. The brand is renowned for its signature stretch-nylon fabric that Monaco developed after experiencing issues with cotton-lycra pieces shrinking. This innovative fabric resists fading, shrinking, and sagging, forming the foundation of her sculptural knits and contemporary designs. Monaco's philosophy centers on creating garments that "hold you where you want, let go where you don't," resulting in pieces that flatter every body type while maintaining timeless elegance and modern sensuality.

My favorite dresses! I have this dress in 6 different colors. I wear them all the time dressed up or down. The cut is perfect, not too short and not too clingy. It fits nicely in the waist and gives a little room for your hips so it isn't overly tight in that area. Worth every penny!!

Susana Monaco is my hidden gem. Shelf bras, everything double lined, just really perfect basics with thick fabric that almost acts like shape wear. I'm legit obsessed and do not know why no one seems to know about them.
