About the brand

Founded in 2019 by Lili Chemla, LESET is a contemporary fashion brand that has redefined the modern wardrobe through its innovative approach to elevated essentials. The name, a play on the French term for "The Set," reflects the brand's core philosophy of creating modular, mix-and-match pieces that seamlessly transition from day to night. LESET emerged with a vision that initially felt too different for traditional department stores to understand—neither fully loungewear nor conventional ready-to-wear—but has since become industry standard. The brand specializes in quiet luxury through minimalist designs that prioritize both comfort and sophistication. Every piece embodies signature elegance and ease, crafted from premium fabrics and organized by fabric sets to make wardrobe building simple and cohesive. LESET's commitment to timeless silhouettes, impeccable fit, and versatile styling has attracted a loyal following among celebrities and fashion enthusiasts, establishing it as a key player in contemporary fashion that empowers individuals to look effortlessly put-together.

The quality and fit of the clothes are perfect, and I believe they are fairly priced as someone who shops small & sustainable.

More Than Beige - Substack

The slim-fit Margo Tee, with scalloped or pointelle detail, costs about $68 — a luxury compared to fast-fashion counterparts, but the quality shows: it holds its shape, washes well, and remains a wearable staple season after season.

The Quality Edit

What really sets LESET apart is the attention to detail. The fit is impeccable across the board, and the quality of the materials is top-notch.

The Cut

If this LESET set could speak, it would say, “I'm not your regular sweat suit. I'm a cool knit sweat suit.” This cropped cardigan and pocket pants duo is more elevated than a casual sweat suit, creating a look that's minimal and chic.

I actually bought my first Leset pointelle tee off TheRealReal and took a risk buying a USED white t-shirt. The risk paid off because the fabric of the shirts hold their shape really well but the 100% cotton make them really soft.

I was Sezane Conrad tee girl before discovering Leset, and the Leset tee is just so....elevated. thick enough for no nip show, but not so thick that it's too hot or too structured. hits at exactly the right place on your hip. worth the price imo.

Magpie by Jen Shoop

A white tee I'm currently loving: Leset's Margo. Really, the cut is SO fab, and the material silky but structured? Really good.

Love that this is made in America, has a lot of 100% cotton/natural fiber options, and generally built to be wardrobe staples. I am already finding myself reaching for these pieces as the basics in my wardrobe- I love that it is low-key but still feels luxurious. Not sure about sewing perfection though...

In terms of the fit, the Barb Pants run long and slightly large, which is consistent with other Leset pants. I'm 5'1", and even paired with 1.5-inch heels, they were still dragging on the floor.

I got the Kyoto Carpenter pants in brown. I ordered them in size M (I'm usually a size M), and they're a bit smaller than expected (I wanted them oversized). There is also a bit of extra fabric around the crotch, which I don't love, but not enough to not wear them.
