Just a little warning please save yourself and don't purchase footwear from Bassike, who claim to sell 'Premium Italian Leather' - Its not!. Definitely stay away from the 'Eyelet Detail Ballerina Flat' - yes so super cute, but has a design flaw and leather is so not premium Italian leather, and tears very easily.

I like the idea of slow fashion and I believe they are made in Australia, but their pant cuts are really inconsistent for thicc girlies, so I dont buy as much as I could.

I have never experienced such poor Customer Service, so disappointing! Oh but apparently I can make an arrangement to take the shoes into the store for further assessment but made clear that the decision is not likely to change.

I went to a talk the other day from the founder and it seemed very much like her plan is still to keep to what they're known for - Aussie made, organic fabrics, styles made to last.

I really only ever buy on sale. I like a lot of their clothes but just can't justify the price point.

Their prices keep going up, but given they're still made in Australia and I can get a good 7 years out of a tee if a) I don't change body size and b) the clothing moths don't get in to do any damage, it feels worth it to me.

I just bought Bassike track pants made from elevated fabric so I'm now wearing trackies to my executive job with a blazer. Couldn't be happier and more comfortable.
