even though I got a defective item I'm quite satisfied with their customer. service so it's generally a positive purchase. experience

What I hate about Doen is that many of their dresses are sheer or have a lot of eyelet lace holes, but are unlined. So, it's either be comfortable wearing a see-through dress or find a slip that works with the sometimes challenging necklines.

My only complaints are that their sizing is so weird- I have some dresses that are a medium but have needed xxl in some blouses which is confusing and annoying.

I have Doen pieces in sizes small through XXL. At least with Sezane, I know that sizes 40-42 will almost always work.

I have a love-hate relationship with Doen but I've been mostly happy with the dresses. The Ischia and the Kaira are the two Doen dresses I have with elasticated waists/smocking and both are holding up well two years on. Doen's pointelle shirts, on the other hand, are fraying for me after one wear and careful hand washing.

I own many doen dresses. I also have multiple coats, shoes, and blouses. The quality and style is impeccable. I was wary at first, but I'm very into it now.
