This cozy Vince Sweater Coat gets a TON of complements, and is an absolute joy to wear. I wear it when I don't feel like lugging a real coat, I wear it when I want to be snuggly on an airplane, when the movie theater is too cold, when the A/C is cranking at the office, or when I feel like wearing a sexy, date-night dress but don't want to freeze.

As for fit, I like how the slightly oversize cut gives it a slouchy, just-thrown-on effect. The collar loosely lays across the shoulders, as opposed to sitting squarely across the collarbone, which I think contributes to the easy and relaxed vibes the sweater has going for it.

Vince - clean vibes on great basics with quality materials, also with decent discounts throughout the year. They definitely don't try as hard as other brands, but doesn't seem like they need to. They know their niche and stick to it.

The Mom Edit

Vince's “boiled cashmere” sweater has been on our best cashmere list for years because it's so bananas soft. It's a little denser, too (thanks to the 'boiled' part) so it feels VERY different than Vince's other cashmere styles. And because of this denser knit, the wide mock neckline is always perfectly behaved (never floppy), framing the face nicely.

But what I love most is how easy it is to wear them and look polished. A true slip-on-and-go style. I can be comfortable and not look overly casual. And with everything cut on the bias, the way the fabric lays and moves with my body is really elegant.

I like the color and the cut and the wrap on the front but be aware….It is like a knit jersey and it will show every little dimple so it is going to require some spanks or shape wear. I ordered 1X and it fits true to size.
