I was taken aback at how strong the glue smelled when they arrived though. It smelled like a much cheaper shoe. The only difference I can say between these Toteme flats and a cheaper shoe is that the sole is leather (but a rubber outsole would have been just fine). They're definitely not worth $630 retail...

The main reasons I sing Toteme's praises to anyone who'll listen, though, are that its pieces are classic enough to wear forever but never boring, luxurious but not off-the-charts expensive, elevated but wearable.

I had read/watched so many reviews about Toteme quality and was so confident that this money, a lot for me, would be well-spent...Even though their FAQ posts a three year warranty on their products, in reality, it's only for items purchased directly from their stores/website...I'm never buying from Toteme again.

The material is excellent quality, the wool has a felted quality that is both structured and soft and would keep one nice and toasty on a winter's day. This isn't my first rodeo with a Toteme coat either, I've bought one of their signature wool-blend coats a few years ago secondhand and it is amazing quality and has held up well after all these years. Toteme does not disappoint when it comes to quality.

I went with a size DK 34 (the equivalent of a size AU 6), and as a lot of you can probably guess – I was swimming in it (I'm 5'2 or 158cm btw). Granted, I swim in lots of things, sometimes swimming in clothing is the look I'm going for, but this really felt like I was in the Pacific Ocean of fabric. I could have definitely sized down to a size DK 32.

The fabrics feel very luxurious, and the composition is nothing short of high-quality. Their style is very Scandinavian minimalist at its core redefining slow fashion with a permanent collection that never goes out of style.

Just bought a pair of the off-white classic cut in the 30” length which is perfect for my 5'5 frame, hitting me right at the ankle. It's a nice thicker denim, I am very impressed.
