Jeans are not my go to for J. Crew, but these are a must! Favorite pair right now and i buy a lot of jeans from Mother, L'Agence, etc. I'm a jeans girl with many styles. This is an A+.

So I've been eyeing a pair of cropped jeans from L'AGENCE. They're not cheap (sitting in the $300+ range), but I keep seeing people rave about their fit... I've bought “premium denim” before and sometimes the hype doesn't match the reality — either the fit feels off after a few washes, or the fabric isn't all that different from mid-range brands.

L'Agence jeans are very comfortable and stretchy, but they stretch out too fast and run large. They don't have the longevity to justify the price. I usually wear a 25 but need a 24, plus I'm short and I find they are too long for me at 5'3”.
