KHAITEMeko Cropped Wool Jacket

Khaite is a New York-based luxury fashion label founded in 2016 by designer Catherine Holstein. The brand has quickly risen to prominence by reimagining classic American sportswear for the twenty-first century, creating elevated essentials that balance masculine and feminine elements with exceptional craftsmanship. Each collection proposes a fresh equilibrium of opposing forces—strength and softness, structure and fluidity—while maintaining a signature sensuality and ease. Khaite's pieces, from perfectly cut denim to intricately detailed dresses, are distinguished by exquisite materials and subtle yet striking details that have captured the attention of fashion insiders and celebrities alike. The name 'Khaite' (pronounced 'Kate') draws inspiration from Holstein's nickname and the Greek word 'khaite,' meaning long flowing hair. What began as an under-the-radar label favored by fashion cognoscenti has evolved into a global phenomenon, with physical stores in New York's SoHo, Madison Avenue, and Dallas. Khaite's philosophy centers on creating timeless wardrobe staples that transcend seasonal trends, offering modern women pieces that feel simultaneously contemporary and enduring.
