It felt experimental, directional, and aligned with their core aesthetic - although I'd say this collection is more modern and slightly less “chill” than usual. Whether or not I end up wearing any of it, it's a collection to admire, dissect, and fall in love with - which is exactly what we love about Tibi.

From now on, I could be almost 100% sure that any Stella pant in size 4 would fit me. And so they've done. I have since found two different pairs preloved—one in Tibi's signature nylon material and one in cotton. All in size 4. All a perfect fit.

Fit Happens

The black and white side is a beautiful plaid and we know Tibi does plaids so well. It is rainproof on both sides. It has distressed edges. Plenty of pockets.

The Monthly Edit

I've been slowly growing my Tibi shoe collection, and perhaps one of my all time favourites (aside from the Aston which I wear 2-3x per week right now), are the Georgia sandal. They have that great, sculpted comma heel which adds in that styled, modern touch.

I decided to try their signature style—the Stella pant. The tropical wool version, best for warmer weather, seemed like a safe start. I ordered a US 6, my typical size, but it arrived too big. Exchanging them for a size 4 was the right decision.

4-Ply Silk T-Shirt Dress... This won't work if you want your dresses to be traditionally flattering or waist-defining. It's oversized and drapey, and you have to be into that. The silk might feel too high maintenance.
