The Cut

The cut and fit alone are good enough to justify the price, and then when you consider that they are made from 100 percent Italian cotton material, it makes them even more worth the splurge. Italian cotton is impeccably high quality. It's smooth, soft, and super-durable, so you'll be able to get a lot of wear from these jeans.

You know those jean jackets that are so stiff you can't move your arms? This is not one of them, thankfully. It's made from the same mid-weight denim as the jeans, so it's nice and comfortable.

Of all the bags I've tried from the brand over the years, the Moon Bag is what sold me the quality of Staud's accessories. Not only has my bag maintained mint quality since I bought it in 2021, but the silhouette has become a mainstay in my wardrobe.

First off, Staud was in its bag when it came to designing this shape—it not only fits comfortably in the cranny of your armpit, but it boasts a spacious interior with a pocket that has enough room for a book, cardholder, phone, sunglasses, and lip gloss.

Thankfully, despite some reviews, the quality was impeccable. Beautiful neat leather stitching, inside lining was clean and finished, no loose threads, and no loose beads.

These are great jeans, don't get me wrong, but you can find almost identical pairs for much cheaper. They are a solid investment if you don't have a trusty pair of straight-leg jeans in your closet, but if you do, I'd pass.

This was meant to be a gift, and receiving the wrong item was disappointing. Additionally, a previous purchase of mine was missing a dust bag. Given the investment, I'd expect a smooth experience, and a discount or gift certificate would be greatly appreciated.
