Completely agree re: Prada nylon. It holds up incredibly well (especially black nylon). I actually think it's worth the price compared to other non-leather bags.

The great, disturbing aspect of this show, on Thursday in Milan, was how the designers challenged one's perceptions of familiar feminine shapes and then proceeded to wring DIY logic out of them.

Most Prada, especially saffiano leather items, are really crappy quality imo. It's just cheap sheets of imprinted leather. I'm a Celine, Tods, Ferragamo girlie now. Quality is better than any quarter sized triangle.

I have had it for 3 months at this point. I contacted my SA, she said to bring it to the store so they could send it overseas to have it repaired for FREE, since it's been only 3 months from purchase. I then brought it early March, she said it would take 3-6 months for the repair.

I bought my monochrome saffiano from the Vegas store in 2019 as my first luxury bag and it's my biggest regret. The smell is pungent.

Prada's quality is no better than other mid level luxury like KS, TB, MK etc and quite possibly worse than Coach. Certainly not good value for that price point.

To be completely honest, if the quality matched the prices I wouldn't be bothered about these increases. [...] HOWEVER, what all these brands are doing now is diabolical. They're trying to squeeze every bit of profit for shareholders by increasing prices, yes, but also decreasing quality.

It's ridiculous. We're being charged 2k for nylon. 4k for the flimsiest, most nondurable leather. If a 4k bag can't stand the test of time (1 year ffs) I can't justify that purchase. It doesn't feel luxurious, something unattainable that I should strive for, it feels like I'm played for a fool.
