About the brand

Deiji Studios is an Australian fashion brand founded in 2016 by Juliette Harkness and Emma Nelson in Byron Bay. Named after the Korean word for 'daisy', the brand embodies simple, natural perfection and humble beauty. Originally starting with linen bedding, Deiji Studios evolved into a loungewear label that blurs the lines between sleepwear and ready-to-wear. Their philosophy centers on creating timeless pieces that transition seamlessly from morning to night, from home to the outside world. Inspired by the coastal lifestyle of Byron Bay, the brand designs comfortable, oversized, and predominantly unisex pieces that prioritize how clothing makes you feel. Deiji Studios champions sustainability, using natural materials like French linen, bamboo, and organic cotton, and is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. The brand represents effortless sophistication for those who believe confidence comes from comfort.

ELLE

The Aussie brand succeeded: its luxurious linen creations drape rather than wrinkle, just like your favourite sheets.

Who What Wear

A poplin skirt that feels entirely modern - I love the dropped waist for a universally flattering finish on any silhouette.

Mademoiselle

A structured cotton poplin with an elastic waistband and relaxed silhouette. Easy for slow days at home, but still elevated enough to pair with a heel and a nicer top (like this one, also from Deiji). A black trouser remains in my mind, the most versatile wardrobe hero there is. I’d recommend these from Deiji in a heartbeat (in case you were wondering – they wash and wear SO well!).

The price? Shockingly reasonable for a brand that makes me feel like I'm living a minimalist daydream. And the comfort? Unmatched. It's like wearing PJs to work.

The Deiji Studios 03 Set is my go-to for spring and summer events! The fabric feels luxurious on the skin, and I appreciate how it incorporates a relaxed vibe without sacrificing style. I've mixed it with various accessories, and it looks great every time.

I own a LOT of Deiji. 20+ items. Their linen pieces are worth it as the fabric is fantastic. Beautiful linen that's thicker, washes and wears well. Does crease easily but all linen does. Wear them constantly. Their fine knitted fabric items is NOT worth it as it pulls almost too easily and looks damaged after only a few uses.

The quality of the garment feels like a $30 piece. The workmanship is horrendous, and the material is not any better. The "100% cotton" items are DEFINITELY NOT 100% cotton. It feels more like a cheap polyester blend, which makes this site a scam, not just misleading because it states that the item is 100% linen/ cotton.

Worst customer service. I never received the package and they told me too bad and did not help or order to send replacement. The customer service rep offered no help and told me to deal with it myself when there is clear record that the delivery company made a mistake.

I have 3 pairs of ease trousers and the quality is poor. After one wash and less than 5 wears, my linen pair has a busted seam, lose threads, and pilling. Its not like I was doing crazy activity or the pants were too small— I was extra gentle with them and followed the washing instructions! It's just a matter of subpar construction.

As far as Deiji goes, the linen softens up quickly and nicely... In 2022 i replaced them with a purple pair. But this pair didn't last very long, like 2 years, and for a (roughly) $300 pair pjs I was a bit annoyed. So I'm not sure if their quality has dropped. The price certainly hasn't.

Would not recommend DEIJI. I just bought a shirt for $150.00 and the threading is coming completely undone. The material feels very cheap with poor craftsmanship.
