Agua by Agua Bendita is a Colombian luxury fashion brand founded by best friends Catalina Álvarez and Mariana Hinestroza, who began their journey in 2003 as fashion design students in Medellín. What started as a small venture creating swimsuits from discarded fabric scraps using Catalina's grandmother's sewing machine has evolved into an internationally recognized luxury label. The duo launched Agua by Agua Bendita in 2018 as their premium ready-to-wear collection, expanding beyond their original swimwear roots. I have a couple of Agua dresses that I got at a significant discount (I'm talking £200ish) and they are amazing quality. Obviously they're hugely expensive (especially at full price!!) but if you ever are thinking of one for a special event, they're definitely worth it!

Agua By Agua Bendita...makes really gorgeous stuff, mostly dresses in absolutely beautiful prints and embroidered fabrics. I've bought 7 of them over the last year or so and I've been impressed with the brand each time.

Love this dress - high quality, very flattering, colors are rich. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is because the bust is small - I'm a 34DD and would have expected a size L to give me a little more room.

The fabrics for the dresses don't have any stretch – so consider that when shopping for them. They are fitted and don't leave room for anything extra: so if you know how your body would fit into a silhouette or fabric like that: size accordingly!

This dress is beautifully made and on a tall person (guessing 5'8 and up) it would probably look incredible, if you can get the right fit. For me, at 5'5, the cut of the torso just doesn't work. It's too long in that area and the result is bunching up of fabric in the waist and neck/shoulder area.
