Description

Founded in 2016 by designer Marina Cortbawi, Brooklyn-based Merlette thoughtfully crafts its garments from all natural, high-quality materials (cotton, wools and silks) with bespoke finishes — perfect for building a timeless wardrobe.

The YUNA Pant redefines modern tailoring with an artistic touch. Crafted from a blend of cotton and linen, its slight crop length paired with a flowy leg balances structure and ease. Its waist is intricately detailed with partially stitched down pleats along the sides, creating a subtle yet captivating texture. The flattering fitted waistband ensures a clean, tailored style, complemented by a classic zipper fly front and button closure. Functional side pockets enhance its everyday versatility, while the design remains polished and sophisticated.

Available in Black and Ivoire, the YUNA is a transitional piece that pairs with everything from crisp shirting to relaxed knits. It also coordinates perfectly with the SOLARA jacket for a refined, tonal look.

It also coordinates perfectly with the SOLARA jacket for a refined, tonal look.

- Pre-Fall '25

Brand Spotlight

Merlette

Merlette is a New York-based fashion brand founded in 2016 by Australian designer Marina Cortbawi. Named after a mythical bird in constant movement, the brand creates thoughtfully designed garments with the modern woman's everyday life in mind. Cortbawi, who previously worked at Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera, recognized a gap in the market for elevated everyday clothes that combined comfort with sophistication. The brand is renowned for its easy, voluminous dresses crafted from natural fabrics like Pima cotton, silk, and wool. Merlette's signature aesthetic features handwork details such as embroidery and smocking, emphasizing freedom of movement over restrictive silhouettes. With a design philosophy rooted in versatility and timelessness, each piece is created to allow women to feel elegant and at ease, whether for daily wear or special occasions.
