Description

Dries Van Noten made his fashion debut as part of the Antwerp Six — an innovative collective credited with putting Belgian designers on the map in the 1980s. Today, his namesake label continues on as a favorite of the fashion elite for its masterful use of colors and textiles.

The label’s renowned curved wedge heels are applied to these mules to add nuance and most importantly – height. The style is made from a lightly tarnished calf leather with punctured detailing across the straps. Slip them on with tailored pieces as well as floaty dresses.

- Slip on

Brand Spotlight

Dries Van Noten

Dries Van Noten is a Belgian fashion house founded in 1986 by designer Dries Van Noten, a third-generation tailor from Antwerp who graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. As a member of the legendary Antwerp Six collective, Van Noten established himself as one of fashion's most cerebral and independent designers, creating both menswear and womenswear collections that eschewed trends while drawing on deep sartorial tradition. Renowned for his signature explosion of prints, colors, and textures, Van Noten crafted clothing that transcends time and place through masterful layering and luxurious fabrics. His theatrical fashion shows became immersive experiences, featuring everything from rose petal showers to bicycle exits. After nearly four decades and over 150 collections, Van Noten stepped down as creative director in 2024, passing the torch to Julian Klausner while leaving behind a legacy of uncompromising authenticity and visionary craftsmanship.
