A bit pricey, but BA&SH is also really cute. Both airy and chic. There's a boho vibe throughout the collection.

Their supposed commitment to reducing their ecological footprint is mostly greenwashing. Even if Ba&sh uses some lower-impact materials, like organic cotton, there's no real evidence they're taking meaningful action to reduce water usage or other environmental harms.

When it comes to workers' rights, Ba&sh is a disaster. Not only for the workers in their European shops, but the final stages of production are outsourced to countries with extreme risks of labor abuse.

When I first joined ffa in 2016 because I bought a ba&sh sweater for $300 and I needed someone wiser than I to tell me I was right to want to return it. The sweater itself was...fine, I guess? Knowing more about clothes now, I would say it was not worth that money back then. They're still selling $300 sweaters now and I suspect the quality is still not worth it (for me).
