The Caribou from Sorel has seemingly been around forever, and we love the mix of comfort, style, and performance. I have Kinetic sandals from Sorel. Which are way more sporty, and I ended up packing wrong and brought 2 left shoes for my other sandals on a vacation and had to wear these for most of the trip. They were super comfy and I averaged about 15k steps a day during the trip and my feet were fine, even having to repeat shoes on the consecutive days.

I have some Sorel sandals with the kinetic sole. I like them and they are comfortable. However, they're also slightly heavy and a little kludgy/take a little effort to lift off the ground (like the sole doesn't quite rebound but just kind of melts into the ground).

Here's my gripe: the boots will require a breaking in period! I was not expecting the heel to be so stiff. They are also tight across the top of the my foot... I honestly think sizing up to 9.5 would have been wiser!

Sorel are garbage. 4 years old and the bottom of the sole wore through. For $400+ I expect better.

Sorels just aren't that good of boots anymore. I mean, they're fine for city use use, and they will keep your feet warm in a stadium. You NEED to put insoles in, both for arch support and because the bottoms of your feet get weirdly cold in them otherwise.
