As a victim of the damned wide foot, I never imagined that I'd be able to slip into pair of ballet flats that actually felt comfortable. Lo and behold the Zena Mary Janes from Sam Edelman—a simple, forgiving pair made with soft leather and lots of love.

I don't like the man-made lining, which shows tears on the blue pair I wear in the spring and summer months. Please construct shoes with leather lining. This might mean the price will increase, but I'm willing to pay more for it.

After one wear, the leather is deteriorating visibly around the toe box and heel. I am in love with the design, but quality is not worth $140 at all. These flats could be great but the leather is paper thin and flakes off the shoe immediately upon normal wear.
