Usually im a size 4US (27 in waist) and I went XS for a low rise skirt from IAMGIA and it fit perfect. If the skirt is low rise, def look at the hips for sizing rather than the waist.

my recommendation would be if you're buying from this brand to definitely size down in everything especially around the waist like the waist is definitely very forgiving.
