About the brand

CUTS is a modern performance apparel brand founded by Steven Borrelli in 2016, launched through a successful Kickstarter campaign. The brand was created on the premise that comfortable clothing can look sharp, inspire confidence, and seamlessly transition between different aspects of life. Starting with the mission to create the perfect t-shirt that was professional enough for the office yet versatile enough for a night out, CUTS has since evolved into a comprehensive lifestyle brand. The company uses proprietary Pyca blend fabric, a tri-blend of cotton, polyester, and rayon that provides moisture-wicking capabilities, durability, and exceptional softness. Now operating under the tagline 'For the Sport of Business®', CUTS has expanded beyond t-shirts to offer polos, joggers, jackets, and recently launched a women's line. The brand has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide, focusing on empowering ambitious individuals with high-quality, versatile apparel that bridges the gap between athletic wear, business attire, and lifestyle fashion.

Cuts when they started were one of the better brands for simple staples that had good quality, a good fit and for a decent price.

I ordered my usual size Large (6', 180 lbs) and it fit perfectly. The length was perfect because it wasn't too long or too short, like a lot of other Tshirt's I've tried in the past. The neck and the length of the seams also fit seamlessly.

I washed it multiple times and there weren't any signs of pilling or fading.

The price point yes runs a bit higher- but think of how much use you can get out of them. We have spent $25 on a shirt and worn it maybe 3-4x before it turned into a “sleep in shirt.” Cuts has been worn out, to bed, then all day and it still looked as fresh as the moment it came out of the dryer.

With each Cuts shirt, you can wash it 100+ times and it still holds the color, shape, and fit. We washed it like the care instructions say and guess what?- the shirt looks and feels the same as it did day one!

The fabric quality for the t-shirts is excellent---it's relatively thick so it looks structured, but it feels light and breathable; The style of each piece is awesome---they know how to cut the arms and chest for a more flattering look; I like their core and seasonal colors; Everything from Cuts looks great together---you can tell a lot of thought went into building a cohesive collection.

The fabric is super soft and has a bit of stretch to it. Most importantly, it doesn't fade, pill, or fray in the wash. The tee you see me wearing in these pictures? I've probably washed it 10 times so far, and it still looks like it's brand new.

While a Cuts tee at full price is over $50, I think the value is there. I wear my Cuts tee usually twice per week. And because the fabric is so high quality (it's a robust synthetic blend), my tee still looks brand new even though I've washed it probably 10 times.

Across the board, Cuts' sizing is on the smaller side. I don't recommend sizing up for anything, but I think guys with slimmer builds fit better into Cuts clothing.

I really do like it for $54. I don't know if I like it that much but if you don't mind how much it costs. and you just want a t-shirt that looks good and feels. good then I can certainly recommend this i do have some concerns longterm about it wearing out a bit more just cuz it is such a thin material.

I just spent about $210 on a new order from Cuts, and the quality feels nothing like what it used to be. The fabric feels thinner, cheaper, and not at all the premium standard I remember... White Tshirt is sooo fuckin thin that it's a see through.

I have definitely noticed that quality control has gone down over the past couple years or so and of the last 10 or so shirts I've purchased, probably 3 were inferior quality and not close to worth the price, the material was thinner or sizing was off etc etc.
